Volunteering at Barretstown
Volunteering at Barretstown is a truly unforgettable experience – fun activities, lots of laughs and the knowledge that you are directly helping children with a serious illness and their families rebuild their lives.
Every year Barretstown needs over 1300 volunteers to take part in our life-changing programme. As a volunteer (Cara) you perform a key role in supporting and encouraging each child to take part in all aspects of camp, while making sure they’re safe and supervised at all times.
Most importantly you’ll help them have fun!
You can volunteer for a weekend over Spring and Autumn or 7/8 days over the summer.
We are now looking for volunteers for our 2016 programme.
All new weekend volunteers living in Ireland must attend one of our mandatory training days. Oversees volunteers will be trained on arrival.
Spring: Saturday 20th Feb or 27th February
Autumn: Saturday 13th August or 3rd September
As a returning volunteer you should have received an on-line application form for Spring 2016. We will not be opening summer until mid January and again you will receive an email with an on-line application. If you did not receive your Spring application please email email@example.com
