Volunteering at Barretstown
Volunteering at Barretstown is a truly unforgettable experience – fun activities, lots of laughs and the knowledge that you are directly helping children with a serious illness and their families rebuild their lives.
Every year Barretstown needs over 1000 volunteers to take part in our life-changing programme. As a volunteer (Cara) you perform a key role in supporting and encouraging each child to take part in all aspects of camp, while making sure they’re safe and supervised at all times.
Most importantly you’ll help them have fun!
We are now looking for volunteers for 2015 programmes. You can volunteer for a weekend over Spring and Autumn or 7/8 days over the summer.
All new weekend volunteers living in Ireland must attend one of our mandatory training days. Oversees volunteers will be trained on arrival.
