Barretstown offers free, medically endorsed camps and programmes that are designed for children and their families living with cancer and serious illness – all supported behind the scenes by 24 hour on site medical and nursing care.

2015 - A record breaking year

We have welcomed over 2,700 campers and brought the magic to over 2,500 more children through our Outreach Programmes

It costs €4.8m each year to run

97% of these vitals funds are raised from the public, we only receive 3% government funding

Free of charge for campers

All costs including medical, food, accommodation and travel are covered by our amazing supporters

Registration Now Open For Dublin Mountains Challenge 2017

The Dublin Mountains Challenge is a fundraising walk for Barretstown. The route follows the picturesque and way-marked Dublin Mountains Way. The event starts in Tallaght and you can choose to walk the 24km route to Three Rock or the 42km route to Shankill.

You can enter individually or as part of a team. By taking part in the Dublin Mountains Challenge you will help to bring more children and families to camp.
