The impact of Barretstown
At Barretstown we run residential camps for children with a serious illness, offering a range of adventurous and challenging activities and supported behind the scenes by safe, medical attention and care – always for free.
The medically endorsed Therapeutic Recreation programmes here at Barretstown are all about enabling children & families who are battling serious illnesses like cancer to have fun again. And through that fun we can begin to repair the damage that the illness has done.

What is Barretstown?
At Barretstown we run onsite residential camps and programmes for children and their families affected by serious illnesses like cancer, as well as virtual, school and hospital outreach programmes for all those who need us.
Our families are given a chance to unwind, destress and enjoy quality family-time together in a fun, safe and relaxing environment. Since opening our gates in 1994, we've been there for over 70,000 children and their families, and we'll be here for you too.
