Who is Camino Tom – well his name is Tom Quinn from Kinvara in Co Galway. So why Camino Tom? Well Tom loves to walk the Caminos which are the old pilgrim routes in Spain.
Following his retirement from the business world Tom took up a new hobby – hill walking. Tom volunteers as a mountain ranger in the Dublin mountains which has given him plenty of practice climbing hills!
Tom is currently undertaking his biggest challenge yet in aid of Barretstown. A 1000km sponsored walk from Seville to Santiago, Spain. Camino Tom aims to raise €10,000 for Barretstown! You can help Tom reach his target by sponsoring him on his My Charity page and follow progress on his blog.
