With its mix of modern and historic facilities, Barretstown provides the perfect venue for your corporate event. Be it a conference, team building day, company meeting or treat for your hard working team, Barretstown can deliver the ideal balance of facilities and activities to meet your requirements.
Facilities
At the heart of Barretstown is our medieval, romantic castle with inspiring conference rooms, steeped in history and several bedrooms. In our courtyard we have several meeting rooms and a theatre with full AV facilities.
We have just recently added a new modern, multi-purpose activity centre 
(Jim’s Place – The Serious Fun Building) with a fully equipped board room and 600 m² hall, perfect for indoor team building activities. With a 200 seater dining hall we can also provide a catering service if required.

Professional Team Building – Discover the hidden energies of your team
Team building activities can revitalise employees, improve working relationships and increase motivation. The Barretstown staff are trained to deliver inspiring team building activities and games 
which most importantly are fun for all. Your employees will build up deeper bonds by discovering more about each other.
Team building is facilitated through our popular Barretstown group games and team challenges. Your group will get to experience our programme from a camper’s perspective, safely facilitated by our trained staff that have direct experience of working with children and adults at our camps. Your team will experience fun and laughter whilst working on problem solving, communication and leadership skills. Some of our popular team building activities include:

I have had the pleasure of visiting Barretstown on many occasions and each time I feel the magic it has to offer. Being there to watch 110 of our employees experience that magic for the first time was really extraordinary. Mitch and his team of camp leaders played a big part in this, from the moment everyone arrived we were treated as if we were campers, being made to feel right at home in Barretstown. Our theme for our conference was “Energy for performance” and Barretstown certainly ensured everyone was energised. From the moment conference started with a simple ice breaker game everyone knew this was going to be a different type of conference. Making use of all that Barretstown had to offer, everyone was catered for during activity time. Mitch’s team ensured no one was pushed out of their comfort zone but at the same time we had a number of people conquer their fears by climbing the high ropes or zip lining across the lake – having their colleagues cheer them on throughout was brilliant to be a part of.

Our Location
