For anyone in the Letterkenny, Co Donegal area check out this brilliant performance of the very popular play Calendar Girls by Letterkenny Music and Drama Group who are kindly donating proceeds from their first night to Barretstown.
The group’s first run of Calendar Girls back in November 2012 sold out! So this is your chance to see
if for the first time or see it again. It’s being staged in An Grianan Theatre, Letterkenny on February 21st.
The play is based on the true story of eleven Women’s Institute members who posed for an “alternative” calendar to raise money for the Leukaemia Research Fund. Calendar Girls is marvellous theatre, guaranteed to make you laugh, cry and come out singing Jerusalem. Quirky, poignant and hilarious, don’t miss it this time around!
