The Barretstown Dublin Mountains Challenge is back this September! You and your friends will have the opportunity to once again scale the Dublin Mountains in aid of Barretstown and take on a whole new challenge in a safe and fun environment.

Last year we embraced virtual with our brand new self-guided Dublin Mountains Way App! This year, we have TWO offerings for you to challenge yourself.

This will be exclusive to 200 participants, will be entirely outdoors and will cover a 30km, one-distance-for-all sponsored hike along the beautiful Dublin Mountains Way, from Sean Walshe Park in Tallaght to the GAP Centre in Glencullen.

Throughout the month of September, participants will also have the option to take on a Self-Guided Dublin Mountains Challenge, with our phone app to guide you along the Dublin Mountains Way in your own time and your own groups or individually!

*The September 26th Day Event is subject to Government Guidelines at the time of the event and subject to licensing.

Additional Fundraising Target:

Due to the shortfall in fundraising events over the last 12 months, as well as the reduced capacity for the event this year, we are asking ALL participants to aim to fundraise a minimum of €250 per person. This will help us bring more children living with serious illness to experience our life-changing therapeutic programmes at Barretstown.

You Can Make a Difference

You Can Make a Difference

The COVID-19 crisis has meant children living with a serious illness like those who come to Barretstown, who are immune-compromised, have been more isolated than ever before. They need Barretstown’s therapeutic programmes camps and programmes to help them rebuild their childhood which has been taken away as a result of illness.

On June 4th 2021, we reopened our gates and have begun welcoming families back to experience the magic of Barretstown once again, with families joining us each and every weekend to enjoy some fun activities, games and most importantly, have some serious fun.

By taking on the Dublin Mountains Challenge this year, you'll be helping raise vital funds to allow us to continue this important work, welcoming more and more families who need us back to camp. You can't imagine the impact your help will have on a family that needs it.

Will you help us and be part of that magic by signing up today and taking on the DMC 2021 in aid of Barretstown?
