We're back!

The Barretstown Dublin Mountains Challenge is finally back this May!
You and your friends will have the opportunity to once again scale the Dublin Mountains in aid of Barretstown and take on a whole new challenge in a safe and fun environment.

This year, we are delighted to return with our 8th DMC sponsored hike event and invite you to come walk this way with us and join us for the challenge!

On Sunday 29th May 2022, we will finally return with our exclusive 30km hiking event, along the beautiful Dublin Mountains Way, from Sean Walshe Park in Tallaght to the GAP Centre in Glencullen.

Throughout the month of May, participants will also have the option to take on a sponsored 30km hike along a route of their own choosing, so no reason to not get involved!

*The Day Event is subject to Government Guidelines at the time of the event and subject to licensing.

Guarantee Your Place

The Dublin Mountains Challenge is an annual sponsored hike in aid of Barretstown. The route follows the picturesque and way-marked Dublin Mountains Way, starting in Sean Walsh Park in Tallaght covering a 30km hike which finishes in Glencullen. We will provide bus transfers from Glencullen back to the start line in Tallaght.

The event has been re-designed for this year to make it as safe and fun as possible! All elements of the event will be outdoors, including the morning sign-in process. It's going to be an incredible day together, so be sure to grab your spot before they will up!

You Can Make a Difference

You Can Make a Difference

The COVID-19 crisis has meant children living with a serious illness like those who come to Barretstown, who are immune-compromised, have been more isolated than ever before. They need Barretstown’s therapeutic programmes camps and programmes to help them rebuild their childhood which has been taken away as a result of illness.

On June 4th 2021, we reopened our gates and have begun welcoming families back to experience the magic of Barretstown once again, with families joining us each and every weekend to enjoy some fun activities, games and most importantly, have some serious fun.

By taking on the Dublin Mountains Challenge this year, you'll be helping raise vital funds to allow us to continue this important work, welcoming more and more families who need us back to camp. You can't imagine the impact your help will have on a family that needs it.

Will you help us and be part of that magic by signing up today and taking on the DMC 2022 in aid of Barretstown?
