The Impact of Treatment
Finn's treatment was an incredibly difficult time for him and his parents. By mid-September 2021, he’d lost the power in his legs, and had to begin using a wheelchair to get around. Later that month, Finn suffered from a massive seizure caused by one of his medications, which resulted in a brain clot that affected the power in his hands, and his speech. At this point Finn could not have been more different than the boy he was just a few months previously.
