Big Picnic 2022
The Barretstown Big Picnic is back! Taking place on Sunday 3rd July, we will be opening the gates of Barretstown Camp to the public, to join us for a magical open day. Throughout the day we will be running all our usual activities, and we will have a bunch of special guests helping us to make the day extra special.
The Barretstown Big Picnic Open Day takes place Sunday 3rd July, 11.00am - 4.30pm.
Join us for a very special day
The Big Picnic gives families and supporters the rare opportunity to experience the Barretstown Magic for themselves and see what the camp has to offer. It also gives parents, and friends the chance to reconnect with their own childhood through the fun activities.
The Big Picnic is set to be an action-packed day of serious fun activities. Fossett’s Circus will perform three live shows for attendees (booking essential) and you can find more details below.
Brady’s Family are the generous sponsors of the Big Picnic and will have some tasty treats on offer for everyone to enjoy. Families are welcome to bring their own picnic to enjoy on the day, or you can enjoy delicious hot food available to purchase in the Barretstown Dining Hall, Elizabeth’s Treehouse.
Our Big Picnic Activities
- Face painting
- Giant games
- Mini golf ...and lots more!
All activities are free, with the exception of the circus which must also be booked.
We will also have Fosset's Circus with us at the open day, helping to spread some of the magic! If you would like to attend the circus while at the Big Picnic, please click the link below to register, as there are limited spaces available. (€10 Adult / €5 Children)
