You must be over 18 to participate in this event.

How do I get my bib number?

You bib number will be sent by text and email prior to event day. Your bib number is essential for registration on the morning of Sunday 6th October at The Brockagh Centre, Laragh, Co. Wicklow.

What does my registration fee include?

The registration fee includes transport from registration point to starting point in Valleymount, Hi-Viz vest, t-shirt, goodie bag at finish, fruit/water stations along the route, medical personnel along the route and soup/sandwiches/tea&coffee at the finish in The Brockagh Centre.

Can I substitute a team member?

Yes, you can substitute a team member or if someone has dropped out once you notify us before Friday 6th September 2019.  Please email us at fundraising@barretstown.org to let us know so we can transfer your entry to them. We will need all their details as race number will be assigned and emailed prior to event day.

What do I need to bring with me?

Most importantly, please don’t forget your bib number.   This is our only way to track all our participants through each checkpoint.  Please also bring sufficient food and water for the duration of the event.  We will have water and fruit at checkpoints along the route, but this may not be sufficient to sustain you for the full challenge.  There will also be a list of compulsory and recommended kit items to bring on the day in your Participant Event Guide which you will receive by email once you register online for the event.

What kind of gear should I wear?

Please bring appropriate footwear: Walking Boots/Shoes, a waterproof top and bottoms.  Hi-Viz vests will be provided at registration.  Check out your Participant Event Guide for a full list.

Will the route be marked so I don’t get lost?

Yes, there will be signage and volunteer/marshals along the route.  Sample of the route markers/signage will be shown in the pre-start brief.

Are there post-race refreshments?

Yes, there will be hot meal/tea/coffee at the finish at The Brockagh Centre.  There will also be fruit at each checkpoint.

Can I bring my dog?

There is a strict no dogs policy so unfortunately dogs are not permitted on the route.
