Here is the story of Dillon one of our superstar fundraiser’s!
Hi, I’m Dillon. These are my adventures.
We had a great day at the Barretstown Big Picnic today. We presented a cheque of €2,400 to Barretstown. We raised the money by completing the “Munster County High Points, Sunrise to Sunset Challenge”. We had a business sponsor for each county, and brought up a sign to advertise their business at the top of each mountain. We also had a lot of donations from people on our sponsorship card and online. My cousin Shane worked at Barretstown, and told me all about the great things that they do for sick kids, especially bringing fun back into their lives. As a result, I fundraised for them in 2018 (€2,005) and again this year.
Anyway, back to today. I really enjoyed doing all the activities throughout the day with my cousin Amy and sister Rachel. We got to play Crazy Golf, go Canoeing, have a shot at Archery, and also enjoyed a lovely Big Picnic.
