Lidl – Creating magic since 2013!
How we work together:
More than 4,000 employees have been busy fundraising right across the country for Barretstown, headed by 140 Barretstown Buddies in every Lidl store in Ireland. Funds have been raised through a variety of exciting events such as store raffles, the annual trolley dash, toy appeals, superhero family days and the exhilarating Twisted for Barretstown event. We cannot thank Lidl staff and customers enough for their support over the past five years.
Lidl’s support has helped to bring 1000s of children and families to Barretstown, ensuring that as many children and families living with childhood illness can gain access to our life changing programme of Therapeutic Recreation, as possible.
To date a staggering €1.8m has been raised by Lidl staff and customers.Contact Barretstown
How we work together:
As well as receiving an annual donation from Domino’s Pizza Group and its generous Franchisees, we also welcome Domino’s store colleagues every summer to cook up a storm by coming to Barretstown to help our campers make their own favourite, delicious pizza. This is always a favourite and very popular activity at camp.
Kevin Blessing, Domino’s Pizza franchisee, explains how giving up his and his employees’ time to come to Barretstown really pays off: ``Visiting the camps and working with the children was a real privilege. The children thoroughly enjoyed making – and of course tasting – their own pizzas and everyone involved had a lot of fun.”
And since September 2016, when Domino’s launched Pennies, the digital charity box in the Republic of Ireland, more funds have been raised by rounding up your online pizza orders!Contact Barretstown
